A wide anodised aluminium door threshold strip that creates a smooth, hard-wearing join between two floors and removes exposed or uneven edges that cause trips.

Also known as a door bar, threshold bar or threshold plate, it gives a clean, professional finish between floors of equal or slightly differing levels. The wide face suits larger gaps and busy openings where a standard narrow strip looks lost, and its flat, low-profile shape has no bulky edges or visible fixings.

Use it as a transition strip between rooms, as a carpet cover strip where carpet meets a hard floor, or as a metal threshold in doorways that take heavy foot traffic. Premium anodised aluminium is corrosion-resistant and long-lasting, so it also makes a durable door saddle for front and external doorways. The three lengths let you cover single doorways or wide openings with fewer joins.

Where to Use It

Joins between carpet, tile, laminate, vinyl and parquet – in doorways, open-plan layouts and between rooms, in domestic hallways and high-traffic commercial spaces alike.

How to Install

1. Make sure the floor is clean, dry and level.
2. Measure the doorway and cut the strip to length with a fine-tooth hacksaw.
3. Position the bar over the join and mark the fixing points.
4. Drill and plug the floor where needed.
5. Screw the strip firmly in place through the pre-drilled holes.
