Order Cancellation Policy

This Order Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel an order placed with Trim Profiles Co (a trading name of Express Matting Services Ltd). It does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Last updated: 25 October 2026.

Summary

Cancelling before your order is dispatched

We aim to dispatch orders within 1 to 2 working days, so please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund you in full, including the delivery charge, to your original payment method. We will email you to confirm the cancellation. Refunds are made within 14 days of cancellation, and usually much sooner.

Cancelling after your order is dispatched

If your order has already been dispatched, we cannot stop it. You can still cancel within 14 days of the day you receive it, without giving a reason. Tell us you wish to cancel and send the items back within 14 days of telling us. The cost of returning the items is paid by you, unless they are faulty, damaged or incorrect. Items must be unused, uncut and in their original condition for a full refund. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Cancelling part of an order

You can cancel some of the items in your order. If the order has not been dispatched, we refund the cancelled items. The £9.99 delivery charge is refunded only if the whole order is cancelled.

How to cancel

Email sales@trimprofiles.co.uk or call +44 1282 270214 (Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 UK time), giving:

• your order number
• your name and the email address used for the order
• the items you want to cancel, or that you want to cancel the whole order

You can also use our contact form. Cancellation requests received outside our opening hours are handled on the next working day.

Changing an order instead of cancelling

If you want to change the size, finish, length or quantity of an item, or the delivery address, contact us before your order is dispatched and we will update it where we can. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be changed.

Orders cancelled by us

We may cancel an order if an item is unavailable, if there is an obvious error in the price or description, or if we cannot verify payment. If we cancel your order, we will tell you by email and refund any payment in full.
